Hi there! I'm Nicole O’Brien, the creative force and roadtrip lover behind Unique Pl8z, and I am a proud Rhode Island female entrepreneur. 

As a former military spouse, I’ve had the privilege of calling many places around the world home, each with its own special memories that I hold close to my heart. 

A few years ago, I set out to create a gift that captured the laughter, and adventures I shared with someone special. With a little creativity and a lot of love, I pieced together license plates from the states we had traveled through, and just like that,

Unique Pl8z was born!

 

What started as a heartfelt gift has grown into so much more. Unique Pl8z is now a woman-owned business with a mission:

to craft art that celebrates life’s adventures and empowers others along the way.

As a proud female entrepreneur, based right here in Rhode Island, I’m passionate about giving back to the community, especially to U.S. Veterans and military spouses.

I’m on a mission to provide employment and create handmade art and home accessories that are as unique as the incredible individuals who bring them to life.
